By Sean Simms

Fishing Under the Surface came to life when a collection of basic drawings were brought together and made in to a short book as a tool for parents to get their children engaged with the wonderful world of fishing. Each spread is designed to offer a funny fishing situation with black and white images that are desperate to be coloured in. The 32 page book comes with a set of 12 free colouring pencils in a handy pouch and is available for £5.99 plus a £1.50 shipping charge. For more information about the book please follow this link to the Fishing Under the Surface information page, or alternatively you can purchase securely via Amazon.co.uk by clicking the BUY NOW button below.

Rutilus Redfin is the second in a series of fun fishing titles (following the successful release of Tinca and the Fisherman in 2023). Illustrations in the book were again carefully crafted to represent an accurate picture of life in the river, highlighting the importance of river protection against pollution. The book can be used to engage young people with an important environmental message while also highlighting the wonderful world of fishing. The publication shows how anglers really care for the fish that they are catching and the places they fish. Both Rutilus Redfin and Tinca and the Fisherman work well together as a set. This book has been endorsed by several key angling organisations, detailed below:

Tinca and the Fisherman was created as a fun and educational story for young people, following the character Tinca, as she embarks on a quest to catch a fisherman in a tale where the classic roles are reversed. All illustrations in the book were carefully created to represent real coarse fishing equipment so that parents, guardians, other family members, and friends can engage the young people in their lives with the wonderful world of fishing. The priority of this title is to show how anglers really care for the fish that they are catching, demonstrating the incredibly important relationship between mankind, and our aquatic friends. This book has been endorsed by several key angling organisations, detailed below:

Fishing Under The Surface was first published in 2019 as a paperback – in 2020, celebrating its success, here is a bit of a more luxurious version! This hardback is printed in the same A5 landscape format as the paperback, but with a beautiful matt finish hardback cover, black end papers, thicker pages, and a hand-written author signature on the title page. The publication comes with 12 free colouring pencils and it is strongly encouraged that this book is coloured and enjoyed... perhaps this one can sit on the bookshelf for a little longer and in the future can be leafed through to help picture the time when your child, grandchild, niece, or nephew, started to discover the joys of fishing!

This publication will be signed by the author and comes with a pouch of 12 free colouring pencils
